Bobok

Bobok - Fyodor Dostoyevsky This could have been one of the great stories of all time if he had gone the distance and implemented the twist he foreshadows. I understand that's normally not his thing, but this story is fantastical as it is. He did it in The Doulbe, why couldn't he go Gogol here? He should have followed through. As it is it's interesting (when is his stuff not interesting?) but slight.
