Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking

Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking - Malcolm Gladwell This is fascinating stuff. I agree with him that most of us have been taught our whole lives to ignore our first impressions. The key really does seem to be distinguishing between good and bad first impressions. Early on, he sort of alludes to the idea that by the end of the book, I too can know how to do that. He never gets there. That's probably the only real issue I have with the book. It would be nicer if there was some kind of programme. Obviously the book is too short for such a thing. My other nitpick is that he says "blink" way too much.
