Yuck. This is definitely one of the laziest collections of crosswords I've ever attempted. There's no consistency: when they're looking for a short form, sometimes it's the first letters, sometimes it's the consonants, sometimes it's something else (even when the word being shortened is the same!!!). Some of the clues are so vague it's impossible to ever guess what they are hinting at and often there's no way the answer is actually a synonym of the clue. Very disappointing, given that one of the author's has a pretty decent crossword in TorStar papers each week.
