Gulliver's Travels (Dover Thrift Editions)
Yes, it wears on you a bit. The best part is the first part. It’s sort of a one joke premise. He clearly ran out of ideas. All that being said, he wrote this a long time ago and nobody was really up to his level. Evolution wasn't known and there were tons of silly tails about the wonders of these foreign lands, so these stories were probably completely misunderstood by many as being serious rather than satirical, which is the mark of great satire. Given the context, this is quite the book.
