Foucault's Pendulum

Foucault's Pendulum - Umberto Eco, William Weaver If it were more about more modern conspiracies, like JFK or something like that, it would have a wider audience. I think, as it stands, it is slightly too esoteric for its own good. I understand that you want the style to reflect the material, and it does. I just think the message is important and it would be more accessible, more easily conveyed to those who need it (nut jobs in cults, on talk radio, and so forth) if it were more pop-culture/zeitgeist focused. The ending is probably the best part. But, aside from the need to constantly look up everything, it's pretty great. I heartily recommend it to anyone who believes in conspiracies.
